morning, tumblr! i was kinda busy all weekend and didn’t really blog, but let’s take a look at my july goals, okay?

july goals!

01. get out of the 170s!
02. find a way to exercise at least every other day on my trip
03. make the best eating choices i possibly can on my trip
04. when not on my trip, burn at least 500 calories a day
05. finish a 5k (treadmill) in under 38 minutes
06. finish couch to 5k

01. done! i ended the month at 168.
02. yes and no. only one real gym day, but i walked a lot almost every day.
03. 85% yes. counting that as a win.
04. done, with the exception of a couple of rest days.
05. done multiple times.
06. almost? i have a day or two left, oops!

august goals coming soon!


i’m going on vacation from 7/17 to 7/24 (and totally nervous about it, fitness-wise, i won’t lie) so these goals will be a little different than usual.

july goals!

01. get out of the 170s!

okay, goals! this month, i will:

01. see the 170s, even if it’s just a glimpse at 179.9 on june 30
02. continue to work out at least 6 days a week
03. have takeout no more than once a week
04. try a spin class (and if it’s awesome, stick with it)
05. do workout videos at least 4x a week
06. finish a 5k (on the treadmill) in 40 minutes or less


ok, let’s look at those may goals.

goals for may!
01. complete the 30 day shred
02. exercise at least six days a week
03. get some sun so i’m not flabby AND pale
04. cook at least one new healthy dinner a week
05. lose at least 10 more lbs

01. NOPE! (i ended up taking almost two weeks off. i’m actually not positive that i’m going to continue it at this time - it was getting really tedious. we’ll see.)
02. DID IT!
03. DID IT! (my legs are still pretty white but my arms/shoulders/etc have some color)
04. DID IT!
05. DID IT! (i think? i don’t have a timeline, but the tumblr post right before my “may goals” post says i’d lost 16.4 lbs, and as of right now i’ve lost 28.9, so i’m thinking DONE!)
