well, i knew i’d gain weight on vacation; it was really just a question of how much. i started out the week really well, eating-wise, and i tried to mostly make good choices, but sometimes i said “eh, i’ll go for it” and yesterday, our last day, i completely said “screw it” and had a double-double from in-n-out for lunch and pad thai for dinner. my exercise throughout the week was hit-or-miss as well — i did a lot of walking, but i only actually went to the gym one time.

i was really, really nervous to step on the scale this morning when i got home. i weighed 172.5 when i left.

good morning, tumblr! my ass still hurts from spin class, in case anyone was wondering, right on the area that every pilates teacher i’ve ever had calls the “sit bones.” i think i might look into buying some kind of seat cushion i can bring with me to class next time.

couch to 5k, week 5 day 3 = 5 minutes walking, 20 minutes running, 5 minutes walking! 20 minutes, guys! i ran for 20 minutes! like, consecutively! all in a row! i started running and didn’t stop for 20 minutes!

it kind of sucked, okay, but i don’t care! I DID IT! \o/

i saw a friend yesterday who i hadn’t seen since before i started losing weight. she was properly impressed and said several times how skinny i am. which, i’m not skinny, obviously, but i’m certainly skinnier and it made me happy. :D
