doing some pre-baby housecleaning/organizing and found a folder with pictures from two different cruises, the first in december of 2006 and the second in october of 2010. i’d guess i’m around 210 in the first, around 170-175 in the second.

not only do i look SO much better now (even disregarding the hideous stripe-y highlights, god), but i look so much happier and more comfortable in the more recent pic! it made me happy, so i thought i’d share. :D

i feel awkward posting these (even in flattering black and white!) as there’s still a lot of work to be done, but i was looking at them and the difference made me smile so i figured i’d man up and post them. :)

this weekend was way tough; i already posted about the birthday party on saturday, which was fun but not very diet-friendly, and then yesterday my bf’s mom made us dinner before we left, which was lasagna. D: i got served a large portion and only ate half of it, plus salad. there was also garlic bread which i really wanted but avoided. so, i did the best i could, but i’m still up from saturday morning (i was 176, dammit!).

oh well, it’s a new week and now the ass-kicking shall commence. gym, and perfect eating, and SO MUCH WATER! i will see 175 on wednesday, dammit. i will i will i will!!!!
