hi! i’m tracy.

here’s the deal: on january 30, 2011 i’ll be turning thirty years old. i plan to weigh a lot less by then, because i can’t deal with being fat AND thirty. my dream goal weight is 130, because i think it would be cool to weigh 130 while turning 30 on 1/30, but mostly i just want to get into the ‘healthy’ bmi range.

i live in new york city, and i love it. i have a long-time boyfriend i absolutely adore (who’s naturally skinny, that bastard) and two cats named gypsy and jester. they are cuter than you. i watch a lot of tv. i don’t have a job. (yes, those two things go together, don’t they?) i love travel, live music, dancing and the ocean. i write, sometimes.

specific stuff with which i’m obsessed to varying degrees: tv-wise, it’s true blood, sons of anarchy, chuck, community, parks and recreation, the vampire diaries, glee, the big bang theory, party down, and probably some others that i’m forgetting. dead tv i love includes: everything joss whedon, the oc, veronica mars, my so-called life, arrested development, lost.

musically, my favorite band of all time is fall out boy (yup) and i’m a ridiculous fangirl for david cook. some other favorite artists: butch walker, andrew mcmahon (jack’s mannequin & something corporate), ludo, blue october, the hold steady, florence + the machine, lady gaga, kate nash. and a lot more. like, really a lot.

other random stuff i like: starbucks (but no white mochas anymore!), tattoos, red nails (and toenails!), books, shopping, attempting to cook healthy dinners.

as for the weight-loss stuff: i eat ~1200 calories a day. i do at least 500 calories worth of exercise 6-7 days a week. i don’t binge. i don’t cheat. not everything i eat is organic and natural and nutritious and whatever, but you won’t catch me eating a big mac or a piece of cheesecake anytime soon. i try not to waste my calories on stupid stuff. i will have a couple of glasses of wine now and then, but i always plan ahead and factor them into my calories for the day.

my exercise consists of cardio (i’m obsessed with the elliptical, and i’m working on couch to 5k), workout videos incl. jillian michaels’ 30 day shred, and a handful of exercise classes. mostly zumba (love!) and sometimes pilates or yoga.
