i’m down 13 pounds?

…maybe my scale is broken.

i officially have lost 8 pounds since buckling down and doing this thing. :D

by the time my birthday hits (january 30) i should be back to where i was pre-baby, which is my current goal. after that i’d like to maybe lose another 15 or so pounds, but right now i just want to get back to my previous low of 163. which sounds high since i’m only 5’5”, but i’m a curvy girl and i can’t really imagine being below, like, maybe a size 10. i felt pretty good at 163. we’ll see.


199 today. yeah, i was (am) up that high. i didn’t really want to post the numbers, but whatever, i’m back on the right side of 200, thank god. yeah, it’s only barely, but i’m trending down so i’m celebrating.

i still have 36 pounds to lose to get my back to my previous low weight — for right now, that’s my goal. and 36 pounds is totally manageable, i lost way more than that last year. another good thing is that i remember pretty vividly how much better i felt about myself at even 185, 175, etc, so i know it won’t be THAT long before i start seeing some changes, which i think is SUCH good encouragement!

definitely going to the gym today and tomorrow. i’ve been going on tues/thurs in the evenings but now that tv is coming back, including the x factor which i’m recapping for work, i think my gym days will be sunday, monday, friday and saturday, and i’ll do some exercise videos (i want to restart the shred!) on tuesday-thursday.

so. progress! plans! yay.


the problem with being excited about that water weight you were down is that when it fluctuates back up you kind of want to throw something. lol and also sigh.


i forgot how when you eat right and exercise, you actually do lose weight! i’m down three pounds since thursday. and yeah, water weight, whatever. i don’t care; i’ll take it.

i also re-did my blog header bio thingie since it still said i was 29 and pregnant.


…is a go! i went to the gym thursday and today (and will be going tomorrow as well). i started using the iphone lose it! app again to track my calories. i’m giving myself an extra 400 for nursing, which i may adjust down if i don’t see results. i just don’t want to cut it TOO low and fuck up my supply.

anyway! i’m done making excuses. i’m on this. it’s happening. that is all.

down 2.5 pounds since the other day. i don’t know if it’s still water weight coming off from the pregnancy or if it’s from all the breastfeeding, but either way, i’ll take it. :D
